With the text selected, open Edit>Clear>Clear Formatting.Tap the handy but eternally forgotten Remove Formatting tool – look for the letter A with a tiny pink eraser icon masking the right-hand foot of the A.To get rid of that formatting and return to nice crisp text, just select the copy and either: You take text from another document or website and find that you’ve imported formatting you just don’t need.

Or click thrice to select the text in an entire paragraph.Click twice to select the entire word you just clicked.Click once to enter the cursor in a section of text.I suspect more people don’t know about or use this than those who do when selecting text: It's so much faster than writing your words and then amending their placement. The cursor magically appears where you need it to be and you can begin writing in that alignment (left, right, center).Double-click the blank area in your document in which you want your text to go – left, right or center of the page.Want to pop something into your document that’s aligned differently than the rest of it? Perhaps you’re writing a letter and want to center a line of text in an otherwise left aligned document? This tip lets you place the text in your chosen alignment immediately, so you don’t need to select it and assign alignment subsequent to writing. It takes me directly to my most recently edited word in a document, or the section I was working on when I last saved a document once I’ve opened it again. Note: VoiceOver users on the Mac OS X platform may experience mixed results in accessibility depending on the web browser being used. If you use an assistive technology such as a screen reader or speech recognition software, you will have the best experience in Office Online if the assistive technology that you use supports WAI-ARIA. Office Online provides WAI-ARIA support for assistive technologies (WAI-ARIA stands for Web Accessibility Initiative-Accessible Rich Internet Applications). You can also use the browser controls to zoom, to change text size, and to control screen colors. However, all the keyboard shortcuts and other accessibility features that you know from the browser work in Office Online. For example, keyboard shortcuts might not be the same and the page layouts are different. This makes its accessibility features work a little differently than Office desktop programs. Please note that student email will remain on Gmail at this time.
MICROSOFT ACCESS FOR MAC USERS OFFLINE
The University is not taking any existing service offline as a result of bringing Microsoft Office 365 for OSU online. The University is not requiring any employee to use any Office 365 service.

Please refer to the security policy on what specific information may be stored. The offered Office 365 Apps are covered under an agreement with Microsoft, so you may use these apps to store University data and conduct University business.
MICROSOFT ACCESS FOR MAC USERS PRO
The version of Office that students can download from Office 365 is Office 2016 Pro Plus. Office 365 is the name for a suite of online collaboration services, and is not a new version of Office.
MICROSOFT ACCESS FOR MAC USERS INSTALL
Office 365 for students includes: five (5) free licenses to download and install Office, Office Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive. All these services are included in the current contract for no additional charge.
MICROSOFT ACCESS FOR MAC USERS LICENSE
Office 365 for Education is free for Students OSU is not paying Microsoft beyond our standard annual campus license agreement. Office Online provides the ability to create, edit and collaborate real-time on documents in native Office formats within a web browser, without having to convert the files. OneDrive is particularly exciting as it offers 1TB of online storage. Share your documents easily via email, web, blogs, and OneDrive.
